The Transformation of Small Medium Enterprise in South East Asia Region after The ASEAN Community 2015

Hello ASIANers, I am Pandu Dwi Luhur Pambudi, I am student of Information Sytem in University of Jember, Indonesia. I know about HPAIR last time from my friend Muhammad Ridho Fauzi Chaniago who has been a part of  HPAIR Asia Conference 2013, Dubai, Uni Arab Emirates (UAE), on August 2013. I really love to interact with my friends in ASIA, especially in South East Asia. South East Asia is preparing to the ASEAN Community 2015, we have community  to promote and preserve cultural diversity and biodiversity of Southeast Asia countries, we call it “ASEAN Cultural Exchange” and i am the Indonesian admin for the page, we active promote ASEAN culture via Facebook and the page now  hit  4.500 likers. ASEAN Cultural Exchange is a community page which introduce and share to all ASEAN people the different cultures including its society, politics and people of Southeast Asian Nation. We support ASEAN Community 2015 with vision to strengthen the cultural tolerance and togetherness in  future of ASEAN. To know and understand what kind of living does the ASEAN people have and to promote PEACE and FRIENDSHIP to other ASEAN races.
What topic do you want to choose?
I choose topic about The Future of SME in South East Asia and (Media and The Government)
So, Let's we start about ASEAN
What is ASEAN and what is ASEAN Community?
ASEAN Overview
ASEAN stands for The Association of Southeast Asian Nations. ASEAN was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) by the Founding Fathers of ASEAN, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Totally ASEAN has ten member, they are Brunei Darussalam which joined on 7 January 1984, Viet Nam on 28 July 1995, Lao PDR and Myanmar on 23 July 1997, and Cambodia on 30 April 1999,and we have mission that is How to make a better conditions in South East Asia region in the important pillars of life.
so what is ASEAN Community 2015 ? and what is the function of The ASEAN Community 2015 ? . The ASEAN Community is comprised of three pillars, the Political-Security Community, Economic Community and Socio-Cultural Community. Each pillar has its own Blueprint approved at the summit level, and, together with the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI) Strategic Framework and IAI Work Plan Phase II (2009-2015), they form the Roadmap for and ASEAN Community 2009-2015.
ASEAN commands far greater influence on Asia-Pacific trade, political, and security issues than its members could achieve individually. This has driven ASEAN’s community building efforts. This work is based largely on consultation, consensus, and cooperation.
Beside the ASEAN Community 2015 we also will face the result target of The eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) that promoted by The United Nation for building a better world in reducing income poverty, hunger, disease, lack of adequate shelter and exclusion,  while promoting gender equality, health, education and environmental sustainability.
The second of the above issues have been addressed about the importance of a good economy to create a better life in the future, the ASEAN Community will be the door to the development of small and medium enterprise in The Southeast Asia region. The economy in Southeast Asian countries is growing rapidly, the economic growth continues and increasing every year, this condition makes the ASEAN countries are able to compete with other countries and rise from the global economic crisis.
SMES are very influential and important for Southeast Asian countries, because most of the per capita income is supported by transaction activity conducted by the (SME entrepreneur). The ASEAN Community would be an opportunity for ten ASEAN members because the entrepreneur in every ASEAN members has the opportunity to mobilize easily and conduct of trade among ASEAN countries.
The ASEAN Community would be a large share of SMES to develop and promote their efforts easily, quickly and inexpensively, as well as the prospect of number of Southeast Asian countries population that always increase will strengthen the economy of ASEAN countries. The SME opportunities to develop in Southeast Asian countries is very huge. The proportions of productive age are higher than the proportions of  the old age.
So that is why we believe that the Small-middle Enterprise in Souteast Asia will be the power of Asia in the future and will role the world economy.
The second topic that i choose for HPAIR 2014 is Media. Here i i givve simple example between the government and media.
2nd topic (Media and Government)
The Influence of Media in Political toward The Presidential General Election
Asian countries have a good level of democracy, the freedom of speech has regulated by legislation. The media has opened its doors in various aspects of social life, such as democracy in a political culture in the Government area and the presidential election campaign.
The cultural politics of Western countries have also been applied by Asian countries, such as the use of social media networking of the Government in order to make the goverment closer to the people and for the good government aspect (ex : TheOfficial twitter and facebook of President of Republic Indonesia (Susilo Bambang Yudoyono). with the media the Government would get critiques and feedback directly from the community and will be quickly to know the issues that faced in the society, so the government will be easier to find the solution of the problem.

It is very interesting to discuss about the relationship between Media and Government, nowdays the relationship of it likes the domino’s effect. That are few examples of the topic, we still have many more things to discuss related about the Media and Government.
